| Robert Reck is an
internationally recognized Architectural and Interior Design Photographer
whose assignments have taken him around the world. He holds a Masters
Degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico. In addition
to an active assignment schedule, he enjoys teaching workshops on
architectural photography and interior lighting techniques. He is
a contributing photographer to Architectural Digest
and has been published in dozens of publications including Architecture,
Architectural Record, GA, A+U
and Interior Design. He was the lead photographer
for Santa Fe Style, published by Rizzoli International
and has been a major contributor to monographs on many preeminent
architects such as John Gaw Meem, Antoine Predock and Robert A.M.
Stern. Two new books have just been published with Robert's photographs
The Small Adobe House, a book on adobe
architecture in the Southwest, and Facing Southwest,
a book on the life and residential projects of architect John Gaw
Meem, published by W.W. Norton & Co. February 2002.
His work is distinguished by
his masterful use of light, strong composition and a considered
interpretation of subject. Residential assignments at the homes
of Liz Claiborne, Carol Burnett, Ali McGraw, Val Kilmer and Candace
Bergen have revealed his ability to uniquely characterize each project
to the style of the homeowner.
Robert's recent assignments have taken him to
England, Scotland, Germany and Austria. He has also photographed
the Shanghai Stadium in China and photographed in Southeast Asia
for luxury hotels and resorts as well as in Italy for the American
Academy in Rome. Recent Architectural Digest assignments
have have taken him to Malta, Italy, Cyprus and Morocco as well
as numerous assignments in the United States.
